We respect local culture, local lifestyles, and create employment opportunities to benefit local people. We repair roads and bridges, relieve the people in stricken areas, participate in charity, and support education and healthcare for local people's better future.

For a long time, CMC has defined its quality objectives as follows: keeping 100% customer satisfaction rate and high satisfaction rate from shareholders, employees, partners and other related sectors, creating value for itself and all relevant parties, and achieving sustainable and stable development.

The top-level corporate design of CMC has included the spreading of the CSR idea, promoting the brand of Responsible CMC, and keeping harmonious relations with stakeholders.

In general, CMC aims to obtain sustainable development capabilities in environment, economy and society.

In May 2011, CMC introduced social responsibility management system.

In 2012, 2015, and 2018, CMC was evaluated as Leading Company of the CSR Performance Evaluation of Chinese International Contractors for three times.

In 2018, CMC won the Award for CSR Excellence.

In 2015 and 2018, CMC won the Best Practice Award.

From 2013 to 2018, CMC successively has issued four CSR reports, presenting its performance in high-quality and efficient services, work safety, green and low-carbon development, caring for employees and social return.

In 2019, CMC released the Sustainability Report on Serving the Belt and Road Initiative, covering its major projects in Bangladesh, Malaysia, Vietnam and Sri Lanka, and reinforcing the image of "the New International CMC."
