The Representative Office in Vietnam of China National Machinery Import & Export Corporation known as CMC is a standing body for the development of the Vietnamese market.
The Office was established in 1996, initially located in the largest city - Ho Chi Minh City, and it was moved to the capital Hanoi in 2003.
In the past years, the Representative Office of CMC in Vietnam has been committed to development of project contracting market and trade between China and Vietnam, and it has made remarkable achievements, especially in the new century. It is successful in developing the Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant, the Ha Bac Fertilizer Plant, Cua Ong Coal Washery Slurry Treatment Plant, Hong Gai Coal Washery Slurry Treatment Plant, Truong Son Cement Plant as well as export of diesel locomotives, achieving an amount of over one billion US dollars while taking the leading position in the same business industry. The business in Vietnam of the Representative Office has currently entered a growing stage of development, its business divisions has been expanded further; power plant, energy, chemicals, transportation, infrastructure construction, complete sets of large-scale equipment exporting as well as new energy development being the key industries that we are focus on.
