CMC’S Business in Pakistan
Since its establshment, CMC has reached an aggregated export volume to Pakistan of 5000 million, covering export projects of complete equipments of Textile Machinery, pint-size complete equipment for chemical industry, 175 sets of new type of high-tech coaches, etc. According to the CMC’s General Planning for enlarging export of machinery products to Pakistan, integrated with China government’s implement of “ Walk out” strategy, we are incessantly engaged in expanding new business scope and exploring new trading mode specially suit for the local market.
We have already entered into Pakistan railway market and won the approval of Railway Ministry of Pakistan for the quality and operation condition of the 175 sets of new type of high-tech coaches as well as their strong support of CMC’s further business in Pakistan. We also have many projects under negotiation and tracing, such as the reorder of new type of high-tech coaches, reconstruction of railway signal, new type of railway cargo cars, reconstruction of railway electrization, construction of railway vehicle maintenance center in Pakistan. We are endeavored to introduce advanced technology, management and service to this market of high potential.
After ten years efforts, we have done abundant research and spot survey of Pakistan’s energy sources market. Currently we have already gained the Exploration Licence for Sonda-Jherruk Coal Field which was approved by Sindh government of Pakistan. Provided the final research report of feasibility is approved by the government of Pakistan, we will build a modern coal mine and a power station by BOOT. The project will mitigate power shortage in this area and set up a new milestone in Pakistan coal industry.
We have wide information channels of many fields in Pakistan, such as urban transportaion, chemical industry, cement, paper making, glass, alcohol for industry use, water treatment and shipbuilding, and enjoy excellent credit standing. As one of the five traditional export areas of CMC, Pakistan is an important market that we are longly developing, widening and deepening. With the development of globalization, we believe that more complete equipments will be exported to Pakistan, for both the traditional and new booming markets.
CMC Pakistan Office was established in 1980. It is located in Karachi一一the largest city of commerce, finance and sea port in South Pakistan. The Office lies in an uptown for public servants of Pakistan near the Airport Road, which is less than 20 miles from the airport and about 20 miles from the center of the city, with convenient transportation, inviting views, good condition of public security, close to Economic and Commercial Office of the Consulate-Genral of People’s Repbulic of China in Karachi. CMC Pakistan Office own a four-floor Garden Villa. The Garden Villa has 15 guset rooms inside, all equiped with air-conditioner and telephone, which can affords accommodation for over 30 people in one time. It also provides free services such as meeting room, entertainment room and laundry, with domestic chef for cooking.
